THE CHALLENGE

When an opportunity arose to shoot at the Loew's Jersey Theater during its recent reconditioning, I wanted to honor the beauty of this 1929 Paris Opera-inspired landmark in a way that complemented it’s aesthetic.

THE EXECUTION

I selected angles and backgrounds that evoked Hollywood glamour so that both the model and the theater played a role in the production, with the theater itself becoming almost a second character in the scenario.

 

We shot with only the interior lighting conditions whenever possible to capture the theater’s natural ambience.

THE RESULT

The images were used for an editorial story in MOEVIR, a Paris-based fashion and art photography magazine that delves deep into the realms of fashion, modern style and art.
